Finance needed for car

I am completing a 3 year lease buy period for a car. As I understand the options are: return the car (not really an option - I need a car for work and getting kids to school etc); pay a final lump sum or see if I can get into another lease purchase agreement on another car.
I am on a debt management plan (but have no CCJs although a couple of defaults.) I have never missed a payment on the car but even so I think that I won't get accepted for finance this time. Does anyone know of what might be available out there, who's lending and what any possibilities might be - as well as warnings of who or what to avoid? The lump sum payable or return of car is imminent and I really can't be without a car. Please help!:(

Thanks. Do they lend to bad credit folks like me?0

As the money is borrowed from individuals such as myself, one would hope that the answer was "No"! But give it a try by all means!0
