Fiat Punto Radio Code

Please can you help me? Since replacing a dead battery in my car I have been unable to get the radio to work as it requires a code. I do not have the code as it is a replacement one for one which was stolen!

The model codes are:

735272569

or

BP 7649372316

depending on how many times you can insert a code try 1724 or 3724.i cannot be 100% that these are right though sorry,.

Sorry, should have said, numbers go from 1-6 on pad, there is no 7! Oops!

Fords only have 1-4 but I post many 5/6/7/8 etc

Is the Punto the same!

Press the 1st button once
2nd button 7 times etc until the 1724 is displayed

But I only do Ford codes , so might be completely wrong

What brand/make radio is it?

edit: I'm guessing it's a Blaupunkt from the 'BP' number

Give your Fiat dealer a ring, they should be able to trace the code from the vehicle VIN number. They sometimes make a small charge. The code is sometimes stuck on the side of the radio so if you can get to it have a look. Sorry just read your posting properly. Whoever supplied the radio should have the code.

Please quote ALL the LETTERS+DIGITS on ANY LABELS , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING.

The main Serial Number should be a total of 14 characters starting with BP and is normally stamped in the metal casing

Ebay provided it as original was stolen!

i generated this code on a bp calculator it just gave me 2 codes and i did not know which one it used.....
