    3. Does anyone know how a wedding day should run such as when does the speeches take place and should we save the cake cutting until the evening guests arrive??? I know everyones wedding is difference but id really like a general idea as to how it should go!!!

A lot of people have the photographer take photos of the couple posing cutting the cake when they do the rest of the photos, but the cake isn't actually cut until the evening reception then the people who are only attending in the evening get to see the cake before it is cut.

I play at a lot of weddings and A LOT of people have the speeches before the meal so that the folk concerned can relax and enjoy the meal!

Plus - it gets the guests talking while their dinner is being prepared. I think it's a fab idea!:T

I have just emailed these for prices on flowers I was not sure of the sound of foam flowers until I saw pictures they look so good I am wanting
1 bridal bouquet pale pink roses
    1 bridesmaid bouquet white roses
2 flower girl pomanders white roses
1 button hole pale pink rose
    4 button holes white roses

I used this website for my flowers for our Summer 2007 wedding, and they were fabulous and would highly recommend them. I had made up 4 buttonholes and I wore a wrist corsage as I didn't want a bouquet. Also she made me a matching cake topper to my coursage. They were stunning and only cost about £25.

When I get a minute, I'll post some pictures of the buttonhole and corsage.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

imo foam flowers are a lot more 'real' looking than silk. They have more flexibility and feel soft to the touch.

Plus - you can spray them lightly with perfume and they will hold the scent ;)

  • The mini aftershaves and perfumes I'm putting in organza bags off ebay (soooo cheap) and also got 'teeny' ones - Jordan Colleen Pais Hilton etc for the younger girls. Thinking of getting a bag of foil covered choccy hearts from Confetti (about £10 for 100) and putting 2 in each bag also - as there are 50 day guests.

    Hi!

Just wondered if she had got back to you yet, if you don't mind me asking? I am seriously thinking about going down this route for my flowers just wondered how much cheaper it would be compared to fresh flowers.

    Thanks!
