Equiniti delay in posting out share certificates

Hi,
Is it just me down in Cornwall or is every other Tesco share holder experiencing a delay in receiving their Tesco share certificates? At this rate I just wish I had opted for shareview to sell them on February 2nd. It is now February 7th and by the time I receive the certificate and go through the sale process it will be near the end of Feb before the money hits my bank. Shareview (or Equiniti) customer service is absolutely non-existent, I had one guy telling me it takes between 10-28 days to receive it and there was no record of it being posted on my account and then a woman telling me yesterday that it was posted on Feb 3rd?? I've been in the company sharescheme for quite a few years now and the certificate is always with by the 5/6th Feb. I'd be grateful to hear from anyone in the same boat as me as well as anyone who has received their certificate. Thanks!

  • I'm not even going to bother with the list of problems i've had and am still having with Equiniti, it's endless. But what i would like to know is whether the Terms and Conditions with Equinity are the same as the Terms and Conditions when the website was with Lloyds and Shareview. I'm refering to the buy back of shares within 3 weeks if they haven't received the signed Crest Form and the shares certs. I'm now experiencing a third buy back as i can't get the signed forms back in time(am now overseas). Even explaining to them that it will take a little longer to get the forms back doesn't work. They ignore whatever you tell them and follow their seemingly mindless system of errors.

Anyone reading this should be advised to never use Equiniti as they will screw you, play innocent, and screw you some more. You will waste an incredible amount of time and money trying to sort out problems that aren't your fault and will talk to people that don't have the authority to do anything to help you. If you write to them they will ignore your letter and throughout this entire process they will charge you fees and pocket your cash. I've had enough but as i'm overseas now i'm not sure what else i can do without subjecting myself futher costs and frustration. I still have shares but can't sell them as they keep getting bought back.
