ibzy, if you were a regular here you would realise that many, many spams and scams are posted here and by first posters. If it is discovered that someone is scamming or spamming they are, as you would expect, banned. Therefor to repeat the operation they will subscribe with a new user name and the whole thing would go round again.
Many, scammers also use a "naive" style like: "Oh I've just discovered this website (which they then provide a link), do you think it's any good?"
Yours fitted this category to a tee in that:
You are new
You asked a naive question which has been asked and discussed here before
You provided a helpful link.
Well, I for one, got you wrong (I hope) and for that, I apologise.
Oh, and by the way we "crazy suspicious people" did help you so I don't know why it's "thanks for nothing" but never mind, I'm pleased that your dad has not become prey to GSi.0 -
The owners of the website sharesweekly.co.uk have been warned, either remove any trace of providing a service or product by tomorrow, or the domain registration details will be modified to show their full address.0

Wow SeanW thanks,
I'm not fully sure what that means lol but I'm sure it's in my favour :T.
The leaflet which was sent to my dad was all really professionally done but had no website, only a phone number and a premises address, which we also found suspicious. The sharesweekly one is the only website which seemed to have any info on GSi and we did actually try Googling 'GSi scam' too but found nothing. My dad is coming up for retirement and is hoping to invest some cash so he is exactly the kind of person these scams aim to reel in and as with all scams boasting massive returns for little investment they plant the seed of 'what if it's for real?' This is the reason I wanted advice, simply to get people in the know to show us that it is not for real.0 -

Hopefully it will scare them into removing the fake recommendations of GSi - the address will likely match other domains they have registered, or will be a home address. It could even be a fake, but its a start.0 -
