Help with boiler supplied under Warmfront
BARGAINHUNTER!

Hi
I had a new boiler and some rads fitted in October under the Warmfront scheme. Its an Ideal HE24. This last two weeks I have discovered that the boiler has been loosing pressure, I have to top it up to 1.5bar in the morning and by nighttime its back down to 0 again! Obviously I cannot go on doing this indefinately! I cannot see any leaks anywhere, so I do not think this is the problem. Does anyone know how to solve this? And if it is something that I need to get a plumber out to fix do I go back to Warmfront or the people who fitted it on behalf of Warmfront as the boiler is just over 3 months old! Should they be charging me to put this right?
Any help/advice would be appreciated!!

hi
you should just phone up the installer who installed your boiler.L got a boiler put in with the warmfront team but my installers were iguana. They told me that the boiler was under guarantee for 2 years anf that if l had to keep pressuring the boiler to phone them up to sort it out0 -
under the warmfront scheme you should have a two year free warranty with the manufacturers ideal
i'm not technical so dont know what the problem is but work with (not for) ideal boilers and have some knowledge of this
hope that helps0 -
My parents have 12 months with the installer (who were crap) and 12 months with warmfront.0
