End of fixed term with Accord - can I move from them..?

I'm confused why you want to move from Accord. But also, as from Monday, from an Accord email: 'The Self cert transfer product will be withdrawn and not replaced. Borrowers with a self certification product who have maintained their payments for the last 24 months now qualify for a full status product'
"If still unable to verify their income then they can choose to stay on our SVR rate or take the Self-cert Existing Borrower Transfer"
........around 5.7%...........0 -

todays update on Accords website: The Self cert transfer product will be withdrawn and not replaced. Borrowers with a self certification product who have maintained their payments for the last 24 months now qualify for a full status product
your quote above: "If still unable to verify their income then they can choose to stay on our SVR rate or take the Self-cert Existing Borrower Transfer" ( which has now been withdrawn)
clear as mud......0 -
Great news indeed.
Looks like all of Accord's prompt paying self-cert borrowers, whether on 'credit repair' or not, will now be eligible for one of their prime products.
I would guess that this move is, precisely to answer the OP's question, designed specifically to keep what they have come to see as proven, decent clients rather than risk their going elsewhere.
Perhaps the first breezes of the wind of competition are being felt again in the market. It probably would show up in such a place.0
