Tiling inside shower

This may seem like a stupid question but im just making sure. We are tiling our bathroom.. walls, floor and inside shower. We have a nice mosaic ceramic tile but its not the glossy shiney faced ones, can i still use them in my shower? Will they not absorb the water? Or am i just being silly? Is there a sealant that you put over tiles? Ive only ever lived in houses with the shiney faced tiles and it just seems strange?

You may have to seal the tiles as glazed tiles arent pourus, thus you may
get water soak into the tiles and they may "blow" off the walls..
