Sorry not sure I understand what you mean, Newham is the LEA she is under (although we are not in Newham), and Newham said no to the childcare grant..mind elaborating?

The LEA would never pay childcare help to a student who is supported by a partner in a well paid job. They rarely give money to students whose partner is in any job0
