Pleased it all came together in the end. Never judge a LL by the agent. And vice versa of course !
Think I'd still insist on the day lost being refunded though.

Was going to start another post but thought Id try here first...
Handed over the keys for the last house yesterday (long overlap to get things done!). When handing the keys over I asked the landlord if he had been asked for a reference (we payed £200 holding and referencing fee). He said he had been asked nothing. Also - our employers were not asked for our salaries. So basically nothing was done!
What can we do about this? We have been avoiding the agency since the rest of the problems and dealing with landlady. Still need to write that letter but have been so busy with stressful moving related items... agency havent done anything they said they would (e.g. inform utility companies of our move). Its all getting quite stressful!

Why dont you just give the LL and the agency a copy of this thread0
