Application for Credit Card without a Job?

Hello All, does anyone know of a credit card company that will offer me a card (I am trying to balance transfer) without being in employment.

I have an excellent credit history and credit score.

Very unlikely. Although they will not stipulate employment as a requirement, your credit score will be very low if unemployed.

He didn't say he was skint! :D

If he isn't then a prepaid card is an option.

Otherwise there is the option of a trusting mate or family member getting an additional card for his use on their cc account.
  • Thanks pb3. Can I balance transfer on a prepaid card?

    Hi
Have you tried getting a Catalogue? I don't work and I got my first credit card from Littelwoods Catalogue, they offered it to me by post. They didn't care that I didn't work and I obviously didn't need take the PP cover.
    Angie.
