Macbook pro

Is there anywhere else apart from the apple store that will stock this product any cheaper once it is released?

Apple are very selective about who they allow to sell/repair their products. This means that the prices for Apple kit is generally set, and very rarely will you find one supplier significantly cheaper than the Apple store. You might however, if you look very hard find a good deal on the last generation PowerBook.
2 heads are better than 1….unless they are on the same body!
  • We won't know if there are cheaper ways until the model is released. But it's unlikely anyone will be able to undercut Apple much on price. Third-party dealers may offer more attractive bundles, though; and I'd always recommend the John Lewis store for its extra year's free warranty.
  • Hi londonguy, i just ordered one of these from computerwarehouse.com. You can negotiate a bit if you try but availability is poor at the moment so its a sellers market. Another option is to order off empiredirect through a nectar account and recieve double points before end of March ( app 3000 worth £15 in Sainsburys ) & they are quoting £1379 for the 1.83ghz version. It beats the apple store but how long we will wait on it comming is anyones guess. Good Luck!

If you don't mind waiting a bit, Apple have a Refurb Store on their website:

No Macbook Pro's yet, but worth keeping an eye on the page.
