NHS job withdrawn.. grrr

Options
after doing a lengthy application last month, i get a note to say the post has now been withdrawm, due to 'unforseen' circumstances.. ??

Not just a total waste of time, but annoying - a similar job (but just part time) is now listed on their site..

i winder if someone has maybe just realised the original advert wasn't meant to be a full time post, or something screwy is going on..

how many hoops would thy have to go through, to get the position approved to start with, before even inviting apps..

Try posting int he jobs forum, not sure you have any comeback though
  • Lots of places are in the final stages of budgeting etc, its likely someone has realised they dont have the resources for full time and reduced the role and cost to part time.

Alternatively another current PT member of staff may have went full time, regardless you have absolutely zero comeback and this sort of thing happens when applying for jobs.

This happened to a colleague of mine. He got the job and handed in his resignation, then a week before he was due to finish here the NHS withdrew the offer.... Ridiculous.
