  • Its the apple store in London and i don't know if they would let me do that. They seem to be making a packet as it is so i dont think they would be bothered if i didnt shop there.
  • Enjoy purchasing and using your new computer London.. .however, have you shopped around to see if the Apple SHop really is the best place to buy it? Are there any other shops etc you could check to see if you are getting the best buy?

If you want to check if there is anywhere else, suggest you make a post on the "Shopping" / "Techie" notice board at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=29

There may be other retailers people could recommend. I bought my PC from dabs.com - good service & quick delivery!

    Good luck!
  • Ive made 2 purchases woth my Skycard over the past 9 months over £1000 and they went through fine. £1900 new bathroom suite (for parents), £1650 for laptop, printer and other bits (for sister). BTW Im not generous and I didnt pay for them LOL, I just paid on my card and they paid it up by the end of the 0% period, which is now up.

  • In that case i may just give sky a call and double check as that would definetley be the most efficient way off doing the purchase.

Hopefully they dont have a daily spending limit and they send the card out to me quickly.
  • I have just phone sky and have been told that they definetley have a £1,000 a day spending limit which is non negotiable. They also told me that there processing for the card is taking upto 3 weeks at the moment. So thats a no go!

I was thinking, is it possible to purchase the laptop on my normal credit card and then transfer the balance onto a 0% card??

If so are there any out there that will let me transfer the balance and let me pay in say 6 - 12 months with no charges or limits?
