I have lodged claims for ppi reclaims with lloyds, abbey, AA loans, Mint & Capital One in the last 2 weeks. So far only Lloyds have acknowledged my letters. Does anyone have any personal experience of doing the same, especially with Mint? Thanks for any help you can offer.0

This isn't change for changes sake, it is change that has been needed for some time.
Look at other forums, the majority are organised like this.0 -
Perhaps we could have some stickies on the board.

Would it be possible to have a full set of all the template letters for reclaiming PPI & a link to the Companies House Site to search for addresses etc as a sticky.0

Lots of people have then sent their complaints into the Ombudsman not knowing if they were members and had them refused (weeks later!!) because they were not members or the date was out from when they became members.
Firstplus for instance became GISC members from 20th November, 2001 so any complaints since that date for misselling come under FOS jurisdiction. I had this in an email from the Ombudsman so perhaps we could have a sticky for people to add dates of other firms to it. It would certainly help I think.
See what others think. We could all add to the list with certain "difficult" companies.0
