Good job we consumers weren't burdened with the same percentage rises when the speculators forced the price up in the first place.
Is this also a good time to mention that sterling has lost almost 25% against the dollar in recent times?"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Hopefully, sterling is on it's support line, as 2001 and 1993 show, and will work it's way back up. Then, I can convert into USD and buy a 4 bed house with swimming pool, tennis court etc in Florida for £60,000.:j
Oh, btw, my electricity tariff has doubled since July 2004. Without using a calculator, I guess that is about 20%/year. Not too bad, I guess, for a cartel industry.FREEDOM IS NOT FREE0
