I ordered some presents on boots.com and got 3 things on the 3 for 2 doodah!
On saturday I got an e-mail saying that one of my items wasn't in stock and they didn't know when they'd get more so they were cancelling it and were gonna give me a £5 voucher with my delivery.
I checked my order and it was the free thing from my 3 for 2 which had been cancelled and still showed full prices for the other two! I didnt even got an option of selecting a different 3rd thing even though I checked the website and the item I wanted was still showing in stock so I didnt know what was goin on.
Today I got my order in the post and only the 2 items were in it, I checked website and they still have stock of the 3rd thing (7 in fact) and there was absolutely no paperwork with my delivery, no delivery note and no £5 voucher!!
So now I'm without my 3rd free £14 item and without my £5 compensation voucher! >:(
I've just mailed them but it says it may take some time to reply 'cos "its a busy time" for them!

..from other posts on this site it sounds like Boots are making a complete hash of this 3 for 2 offer. At the very least I would insist that they deliver your "free" item. I received my latest order on Friday. There were FIVE out of the 11 items I ordered missing!! I couldn't believe they had the cheek to send it without contacting me
They had given me a code for £5 off my next order but since the missing free items were worth £37 I sent it all back and told them (politely) where to stick it!!
It's put me right off ordering from them again :-[Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass

Just been stuffed by Boots with my mini iPod order. Posted a thread in the Shopping forum - realis enow that wasn't the right place!
Grrr, I'm not liking Boots at the moment - I'm gonna have to trawl the shops for a replacement now!0
