Absolutely pathetic reduction after increases last year of nearly 50% for both fuels.

    Disgraceful.

Just a token reduction while continuing to shaft everyone.

Both the % cut and the march 30th date, just when it should be getting warmer.

And the so called regulators will do nothing.

Looks like some people aren't pleased whatever the companies do.

Prices go up, they moan; prices go down, they moan.

If anyone doesn't want the price savings, feel free to send the moneys to me :)

I think you've totally missed the point here! Or are you on a wind up?

I personally feel it's about time this lot of profiteers should be renationalised. They should never have been released into the private dector in the first place.

We only have Thatcher and her cronies to thank for that.

There won`t be any moaning if the prices go down the same amount as they went up.
They kept putting them up saying it was all linked to the price of oil but oil has come down 60% from it`s peak.

Gas and leccy up 50% and now a cut of 4% and 9%
    I think they`re taking the p*ss

People act like this country still has the big field of gas in the north sea that we used to have, the UK was paying way less for energy than continental Europe since the field was discovered and now we are catching up with the rest of the world in terms of energy vulnerability and pricing.

There is no going back, we used all our reserves up and people need to face the fact that we aren't going to get cheap energy until someone invents cold fusion.

    Just my 2p

It is a pathetic reduction, considering the increases in the summer.

I wonder if Ebico will follow soon.

The problem in this country, apart from the rip-off energy big six not competing,is the lack of storage facilities.

We get the gas from the north sea, sell it to Europe because we can`t store it and they can.
Then when we want to buy it back when needed they charge us twice the price!

The government don`t give a monkeys because all they can see is VAT and TAX
