good to see you Luc - yep, I guess NSD's will accompany Bean's entry into the world, but from what I've read a new born doesn't have to cost a huge amount if you breast feed etc so hopefully not much of a big change in finances.....

Len - to be honest the spending on Bean up until now has been very restrained. We've mostly tried to get just essentials, Mum & Dad paid for pram/car seat and anything else can be considered as the need arises... Definitely would like it all done with now though. Officially due Wednesday so you'll have a colour and a name by the end of the month:p
Sally - using disposables to start with (I am NOT washing in the region of 12 nappies a day in a 2 bed flat with no outdoor drying space) but once things settle a bit want to go to reusables. The hospital do a trial bundle for a tenner of 5 or 6 different brands so going to give that a go - it seems a good deal as you can spend £10 trying a single brand otherwise...
Hoping to be able to breast feed but haven't been to lessons. They give you loads of support at the hospital though and I can basically stay in until I am confident Bean is feeding okay. Also get MW visits for first 10 days to give support in the first while. Fingers crossed it'll go okay...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Cool, remember to start a thread before you go into Hospital ok. Its what I did and from what I remember, I think the site ground to a halt. Its been deleted now (long story), but I kept a copy of it and printed it out because there were so many beautiful things said on there.Len - to be honest the spending on Bean up until now has been very restrained.
