  • I have made it to work for the first time this week and it is chaos trying to catch up. Phone. orders, deliveries etc.
On top of that, in my volunteer capacity, we have arranged a training day for 140 ladies tomorrow from all over the County with trainers from as far afield as Essex, Derbyshire etc.
I wanted to start thinking about cancelling it last night but my boss wouldn't hear of it. Said it was a challenge and adventure to get there (she lives 10 mins away from the venue) and also said that she hates making decisions (I had noticed!!!!).
I have now made the decision to cancel - got quite assertive. :D Just a little matter of letting people know. I feel as if I'm juggling a few too many balls (down Lenny) today and may just explode. ;)
    Sorry - rant over.

And I'm still trying to write letters before Sammy gets really cross.

I read this too quickly and thought at first you were talking about the boobs not the tights :rotfl:

Bookie - deep breaths! Sounds like you've made the right decision there - 'adventure' indeed

This all sounds like you are the one doing the Bosses job for her and she is too wishy washy for the role... Good for you for getting assertive, why not carry on in the assertive vein and give her the list to call everyone and let them know... delegate, even if it is upwards!!! lol!

Bookie, you're amazing, incase noone has told you that lately!

Stupid question, but is there anything we can do to help?

Thanks Maz. I have got the County Office phoning round now. Any that they can't catch I will phone tonight. A lot of people are phoning in asking anyway so hopefully no-one will arrive to find us not there if you see what I mean! :D
I have been trying to arrange another date but have had to put that off until next week. The school we had booked are about to go home early as it is snowing heavily over there now.

You are helping just by letting me rant. Bless you. :T
