I've never had an issue with Ikea....the warehouse manager even went and got us tea and coffee one time whilst we waited for the store to close so that he could get the stuff we wanted from higher shelves with his forklift (wasn't allowed to bring it in whilst the shop was open)...and he packed the car for us...

Have you know those weirdos long?
where I used to work regularly took coach loads to the one in Bristol - the trip was always full and there was much 'ohhhh, we're going to IKEA' with brandishing of catalogues and taking orders of whatever they could carry for other people who were not fortunate enough to be in the first 52 to pay their money !!!
Pepe- that's how I've always thought of it - lots of walking looking at minimalist sofas made of metal tubing then lots of queuing followed by lots of disappointment and a bowl of meatballs! :rotfl:
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, hang on - there are pencils??? FREE pencils??!!! That's it - I'm going there the day it opens! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

Well that was a shite weekend.
Night out was dull as hell, the friend I went out with has gone from the 'socialise occasionally' category to the 'drop as soon as possible without making it too obvious' category.
On top of that, I think it's finally hit me that I put up with way too much crap from people for far too long (surprisingly I'm not talking about Dave there!). I've put up with being lonely and unnoticed in my marriage, I've put up with being walked over at work, I've put up with people who supposedly love me taking advantage of me when it suits them, letting me help them through whatever crisis they are having, and then being dropped as soon as they don't need me. I've put up with having all the responsibility for the kids and the household piled onto me because 'I'm better at that sort of thing', I've put up with being forced to make all the decisions and then being criticised if I've made the wrong one. I've put up with having very little support at the times I really needed it, ie through the process of having Ryan diagnosed, through having a small baby, through a bereavement....if it hadn't been for my friends on here I would have gone a bit crazy I think.
I've spent the last hour crying with anger and frustration. My life needs to change. I can't be like this any more.
God it's not often I'm in full-on rant mode is it?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Bloody good for you Snags, these realisation moments are good. I think its amazing how you handle everything with Ryan and everything else
