Loads of places on ebay do cheap plates. Some only for P&P! However, their delivery times can be quite extended!0

I live in Dundee and took full advantage of few phone calls and made use of price promises for my car battery. Got the price cut down from over £60 at Kwikfit to £35 and yes fitted it myself, with 2 year guarantee on it so might be worthwhile trying this. Go for the local independent motor factors as they are often quids cheaper than the big stores and dont be afraid to ask for trade prices. You are more likely to get those being a bloke (harder to get when your a girlie - but have on occasion got those just for asking).
As for the number plates got those for £8 each if that and picked them up next day, only thing with these is certainly with Halfords in Dundee you had to take in your vehicle registration docs for security - apparently all are supposed to do this, but my local never bothered as i looked honest and the car that the plate was going on was sat outside at the time of ordering (needed a rear one for cycle carrier plate). Motor factors that i used for the plates and battery (ford mondeo) was D & A.
Hope this helps.0 -
