Are NTL blocking Sipgate numbers?

Does calling the number work from a mobile?
As the above sounds like a setup problem, when I hadn't quite set my ATA up, I would get the engaged tone when ringing in, even when not engaged. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

I'd re-iterate, it may be an issue of language semantics, but ntl don't block VoIP ranges per se, it's just that they won't enable a range until asked to by the assignee. In the case of non-geographic numbers, they won't do this without a commercial agreement. Securing these takes time & effort, and many VoIP providers take the view that having secured access from BT lines, this covers off most of the issue and it isn't cost effective to do the rounds of other operators.I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0 -
I can receive calls from landlines and mobiles most of the time but still get the occasional engaged tone when the line is not engaged.
I can also call freephone numbers OK (mostly).
It seems to be the dial-thru numbers beyond the announcements it doesn't like.
Could I have a setup problem as it seems so dodgey and not reliable enough to give up my landline yet?
