Can I claim PPI?

Hi
When I was quite young (and naive)
I got a loan HSBC with PPI. For a while it got put to a 'managed loan' due to difficulty of making the payments. This after about a year went back to normal loan repayments. I extended the loan a few years back and only have about one year left. I have no paperwork for the extended or managed loan period. The only paperwork I have is the original documents (including the PPI) when I first took the loan out.
After extending and have the managed periods, would the PPI still existed? Could I still claim this back?
Any advice would be most welcome!
Thanks

Hi GlennyNat
I would still try to reclaim on this if you believe you were mis sold the PPI for any reasons.
Check this out here

There is some useful PPI info and a template, but I would say write in your own words as much as you can obviously with your own reasons, they have 8 weeks to respond in full, another letter maybe required if not successful first time round or until you receive the final response.
Post by recorded delivery and please let us know the outcome in order to take this to the next step if required.
Have you the agreement and paperwork for this still?
There is also a PPI discussion thread where others will be also to help in this matter, you will find it in this thread.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
