In dispute with my mortgage lender and it appears they have sent to me a copy of my offer of loan document that is not true to the "Original". The signature page (12 of 12) is, but copies of pages 1 to 11 are not as the original document. Can anyone advise me of the implications? Many thanks

Why are you not taking it up with the company concerned, have you asked for an explanation? who is the lender?0

Hi Fiesty 1. Yes I have taken it up with my lender. They state that because my account has been transfered to a new lender, they cannot copy the details of the offer of loan onto letter headed paper of my previous lender. This therefore gives evidence that neither of the lenders have retained a hard copy of the original offer of loan document and therefore raises my question of implication.0

quote=KREED;17423721] The B&W declaration comes as part of their trading description at the bottom of each and every page of their letter headed paper. "Bristol & West plc is authorised and regulated by the FSA in respect of Investment, Mortgage and Insurance mediation activity. Bristol & West Follows the Banking Code. A copy of the Code is available on request" It is clear that from the Banking Code itself that it does not cover the three activities that B&W were stating thay were authorised and regulated for. FSA & Banking Code are seperate...........
Banking Code
The Banking Code is a voluntary code which sets the standards of good practice we aim to follow in our dealings with customers
Bristol & West
All Bristol & West plc mortgages were transferred to Bank of Ireland on 1st October 2007 since then Bristol & West plc is no longer authorised in respect of mortgage business.0 -
