If he is 99 cm it would seem that he is right on track!0 -

Don't panic i bet he is perfectly fit and healthy, i you still feel unsure there's nothing wrong in getting your gp check him outLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -
fernlibee thank you for the link. He does seem to be on track. See I knew he was fine, I should learn not to listen to other people. Infact I would say that when he was measured 7 months ago he was average for his age, all be it now he has slipped down the centile range but he's not dropped off it so thats fine for me.February 2013 NSD - 40

The children in nursery don't seem to be any bigger than your boy really - mine towers head and shoulders above the others at 109cm with his shoes on so I think your boy probably is average. A health visitor can set your mind at rest though, or a GP. If you're worried about his diet or appetite it might be worth seeing somebody but if you think he's okay then you could just wait until he's at school and then ask to see the nurse if you're worried.52% tight0

It is perfectly normal for children to stop growth spurts.
Whilst he doesnt appear to be on a spurt, he will be growing some only very slowly.....nothing wrong with that at all.
Also, you cant compare children like for like as they all develop so differently.0 -
The leg thing may be completely unrelated. I know a kid who often when he has had an active day gets fidgity legs that hurt at night. she rubs toothpaste in them! apparently that works like deep heat.0

I've heard that they grow more in summer too, I don't know if it's true though. I can't find my red book for my eldest but he was always small and I remember one time he hadn't grown at all in almost a year. He saw lots of people for special needs so he was often weighed and measured.
My youngest doesn't get weighed or measured very often. We measure him at home if we are going to a theme park and want to see if he is big enough for a ride, but we don't see the health visitor very often - there were 18 months between his 2 year check and his 3.5 year check and we didn't see her at all during that time. There were probably times when he hadn't grown for ages, but we just didn't notice because we didn't measure him, if that makes sense.52% tight0 -

You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0
