I don't have much knowledge on these but my friend does. He said the Tom Tom 300 can be upgraded quite easily to have features of the 500.
There's plenty of free stuff to add too like speed cameras.0 -
i am after a tom tom - for 2 reasons:-
1. So wife can get from A - B and i can sleep
2. So that i can upload the 100 celebrity voices i obtained about 6 months ago for it!!
(can't wait to hear YODA saying "take the next left")
or will it be, next left you must take0 -
Any good laptop deals?0

Why don't you all look at the Kwik Save/Somerfield thread and save some money?0

anyone managed to get 20% off? I rang a couple of Tesco branches local to me. Borehamwood rang back to say there was some sort of offer but didn't know what, and Watford said laptops not included. The thanks button is here to the right. ok been to my local tesco... i did not see the tomtom but for sat nav the 2 bargains were the navman icn320 for £127 and the better one navman icn510 for £160....
laptop they had the acer laptop for £400 travelmate 402TWLMi [i think]... has 1.6GHz centrino processor, 40gb hard drive, 256mb ram [need to upgrade this to 512], 15" widescreen [around about there], dvd writer, wifi builtin....
they also had another for £420 but even though it looked better and had a couple of extra things like firewire the processor was poor 1.4GHz celeron
hope this helps some of you guys...0 -
The mobile celerons are quite good and outperform equivalent speed desktop CPUs based on an article I read a while back. Did they have any signs up telling you what was/wasn't on offer?twe wrote:ok been to my local tesco... i did not see the tomtom but for sat nav the 2 bargains were the navman icn320 for £127 and the better one navman icn510 for £160....
