Cavity wall insulation

British Gas and B&Q have an offer on at the moment for cavity wall indulation for just under £200 (I think £198) for a whole house regardless of its size. Seeing as our house is relatively big, it seems good value but I have not compared it yet.
Seems like a good price, but is it really?

Yes it is. I came across these figures recently and made a very similar posting which turned into a large thread - which I now cant find!. The cost for cavity wall installation is irrespective of how large your house is. Some people referred me to the energy saving trusy which can offer similar deals. Also, discovered Tesco offer same service for same price plus you can get your tesco clubcard points too0

Yes - sort of.
They are coming to do the survey this week, they couldn't before now because we were building an extension. Hopefully will get it done ASAP. Still think it was a good offer at that price.0 -
