Wordpress Site and Hosting

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has a Wordpress site at all and what host they use?
I am looking for recommendations for a host so I can fully customise a "blog" i want to put up.
My current site is with Fasthosts and they dont support Wordpress (without charging me £160!) so need to switch from them.

Help, as always, appreciated!

  • Try student web host. I have just bought a package with them, it only cost me £4 a month, they have a half price sale on or something, i will try and find the code
  • I think this is the one:
    STUSPESPR09

    The website is:
    www.studentwebhost.co.uk

They are really friendly on the live chat aswell!
  • Relichost will do what you need for £6 a year! You can integrate Wordpress (or b2evolution or Nucleus blogging scripts) using Fantastico in the cp.

You didn't pay attention when you installed WordPress - on the last screen it gives you a link to your admin section - should be something like:
    yourwebsite.co.uk/folder you put wordpress into/wp-admin/

This should then bring you to a login screen for your wordpress admin.
