Entitledto...is it only relevant to England?

I used entitledto to work out what sort of housing benefit I would be able to get for a flat, and it came up with a really large amount...then I tried my local council calculator using the exact same details and the amount was much smaller. I'm thinking the second of the two is more realistic because I do work and entitledto basically said almost all of my rent would be paid for me.
I know you can choose an option to say you are in Scotland, but is the programme maybe designed for English and Welsh people or something?

is it a private rental? HB for private rental is based on the LHA not the actual rent and will depend on your age, number of bedrooms entitled to etc
more information here

eg if LHA for your circumstances is £400 and the rent is £500 you would enter the £400 into entitledto
I think some of the calculators may calculate on a full year and others tell you what you would get for the remainder of the year.0
