Linksys Wusb54gs & Wrt54gsuk Wireless Networking

Hi Folks

I have just purchased this kit from the PC world sale. Currently I have a BT phone socket (tesco broadband ADSL) in one bedroom and run a long cable to another bedroom where my desktop is.

To set this up I take it I connect the phone line to the modem then the modem to the router. I then just need to put the usb adaptor into the back of the pc in the other room and run the setup prog.

Any advice appreciated

just that i was talking sense and the equipment i have bought was fit for purpose.

Let me just check, I didn't need my modem on mine, had its own internal on

Right without seeing the instructions, the way you are saying is correct.


You should have splitter>>>>router>>>>>>usb>>>>>comp

Unless the instructions tell you to plug in modem
