Anti-virus Special Offer

I recommend that anyone who needs anti-virus/anti-spyware for their PC check out Vipre from the following web site:
http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/
They have 2 deals on presently which could be of interest to the moneysavers.
1) They have a competitive upgrade offer during February costing just $10 a seat. So if you have a competitor product you can move to Vipre for little more than the price of a pint of beer.
2) They do a family version. For $49 (currently discounted to $29) they will cover all PC's in a single location.
I have been using Vipre for a couple of months now and it beats the pants off of AVG, which I had been using for several years. It's a nice product.

(though I had to check, even though I know sunbelt)
pint of beer = around £2.50, $10 (usd)=£6.83, thats over 2 pints!
still, if I was to pay for an AV, I'd pay kasperski (currently running the win7 free evaluation)Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0 -

I'd work on the assumption that Rik is on about the sunbelt software (or even Win7), not KIS.
Though it is nice to have others agreeing that KIS is very good (I might even end up paying for it

I am not sure what the post quoted above is on about, I thought this thread was about Sunbelt's antivirus and nothing to do with any other antivirus, including the 3 mentioned in the quote.
That said Sunbelt's offering isn't that good and updates are often outdated. You can do a lot better with the free offering from Avast. Of course if you want to shell out you hard earned for an antivirus then Kaspersky IMO is the route to go down.

Eh? what u onabout? literacy? Police....where....I wasn't there, I've got an alibi, I have!
Anyway...my favorite bit was
"Kasperspy Internet Security 2009 rules it is the best product i have tried so far out of norten + macaffe."
If the OP has tried norten + macaffe, how can Kasperspy be the best of them? (yes, I know all 3 are misspelt, but who cares, this isn't 'O' level English.)

Should read "text abbreviation".
Should read "your hard earned cash".Of course if you want to shell out you hard earned for an antivirus then Kaspersky IMO is the route to go down.
And of course, "IMO" is a text abbreviation.
