Has anyone used B&Q funky paint range?

Might be a bit of a long shot, but I'm decorating my sons room and he has chose a metallic/glittery paint as well as wanting the magnetic paint from B&Q.

I just want to know if anyone has used it before I buy it. Just want to see how well it goes on and then how easy it covers when it needs redecorating.

It says you have to use the B&Q funky undercoat range, but im wondering if a normal undercoat would work?

We used that on two walls in my sons bedroom. We didn't buy the undercoat as we already had some cheap white emulsion so we put that on as a base instead.

It didn't go on very well. It dried a bit patchy and needed a couple of coats. Once it was finished it looks good though and my son loves it.

Not tried redecorating yet, so not sure how well it will cover.
