  • And what I want to know is why the chickens are sleeping under a gooseberry bush in the garden if they have a perfectly cosy housee to sleep in??

Looking at them out the window as its not dark here yet still

    Chickens are very odd.

I did get out in the garden today for half an hour at lunch and half an hour at tea

Got more tatties in, the path edged in the veg patch (DS) and I planted a whole pile of outdoor summer squashes, nastrutiums and marigolds (I love both of them and have planted them where I can see them from my desk in my prison.) I could have planted more tatties in the spot

But I love flowers and if I am going to be in prison I would at least like to see some of them.

Friends coming on Wed, I have put the table longer in the kitchen and put on a blue candy stripey table cloth which looks fab

I don't know where the stripes came from in the house they have just somehow arrived

Darwin dude is still in the car hospital, he's not home yet. Fingers crossed for later this week. Funny cylinder action and dodgy oil leak from somewhere underneath the beast of burden.

For fun I have sportingly asked DS to mention to Dad said beast is in the garage.

Did anyone hear the swearing from France???? :)

I am sure he will be fine, but won't mention it yet to him, years of torture = a bit of fun now and again.

Have you considered the marketing potential?

Mull got Balamory, you could give Orkney "Stripe the Dog".

I know that i must have had a hard day today because I found the above (ie calling something stripey spot) ridiculously funny! :D

Glad that your assessment went ok. Are you able to get a transcript of the meeting so that you can look at what was said?

    LOVING Stripes the Orkney dog!!!!

I am very lacking in stripes today - plain skirt, plain top, no socks. Booo. Tomorrow is a dress down day at work, & they want people to wear bright loud colours - but I dont do bright & loud!! Apart from stripey socks of course....that will have to do!!

i love spot as well, did you have to search a long time for him?
I wish my darling hubby would realise that part of his vows involves asking his wife how she did at fat club. He's not asked since i've joined. Heaven know's i sound stupid and i'm worried about my stripey sanity but hey it's only a little thing.

LT - spot was in local shop - which isnt great for money but good for motivation.

    Waves to MC

Pals arrive later on tonight - had the brilliant idea of phoning Mrs Mop and asking her to come today instead of Friday so the house now looks amazing - woo hoo.

Lunch with brother - nice one to say ta - and another section completed I think.

    lots to do still :)

    Waves to you all xx
