  • morning campers hope everyone slept well. I had a rotten night spent vomitting I think my body doesn't like quorn sausage curse it this means on my return to work I haveto go to a panel for 4 episodes of sick in a 12 month period! Nhs I mean you can't helpwhem you are sick I'm upset now x

That's awful, but if you have proof ( i know you do and not suggesting otherwise) then i am sure it will just be something and nothing. Your line manager will be as fed up as it is more paperwork IYKWIM.:o Plus hope you feel better soon.

Waves at Fay, enjoy tree hugging/ringing..:rotfl:

my place is so bereuracratic (i can't spell it i've tried a few times and now i can't be bothered!), i got a note yesterday for where i was parked. i just want to know what do you do when there's about 100 fewer spaces than people?
I've got my payslip today so though i don't get paid for another week i can sort out next months finances which will be good, i can see if i will actually get the overdraft cleared.
I've decided that i'm going to gradually reduce what i spend on my CC and then cancel the account, and as suggested ask for a letter confirming that the account is closed and cleared and then file it for 6 years just in case.
Hope you are all well, i'm looking forward to a weekend at home, not moving the car so i don't have to spend any money, and i'm planning to spend time in the garden and getting the flat straight as it's really doing my head in now.

My place is beaurocratic (sp?!) with sickness too - we are allowed 7 working days OR 4 periods of sickness in a rolling 12 month period. If you go over, then you are on an action plan!! Though how they think that helps I dont know - if you are sick, you are sick!!

    Hello there

Grr to silly sick note emmployers

MY DOS APOLOGISED TO ME TODAY - it a slow step foward :)

    Waves to L - :)

Madly writing about tree growth and island environments - and I keep going off tangent with my reading cos its interesting.

    Uselss fact

Did you know in Orkney and Shetland there are relatively few trees?

Well one of the reasons is growing something up here at sea level is equivalent to growing it half way up a mountain in central scotland almost above the tree line, therefore that's why they don't grow naturally here or very easily here :)

    Money wise

NSD - so far - aside that - nothing but writing and willows are happenning in my life. Have NOT got to the post office - been scuppered every time I have tried. TOMORROW I will go.........

hows life in everyone elses fast lane?

Oh hurrah I must also cut the grass :)

And anyone wanting ot know the exact effect of wind chill on the temperature up here - and stuff - I now have a whizzy graph :) at various wind speeds

Ooooh, is that the ring of Brodgar, Fay? We walked over there from Stromness last Christmas! (and didn't get back before dark, lol!) enjoy yourself :)

And well done on getting that mean old supervisor to apologise - just remind me what DOS stands for?? :)
