Natwest debit card expiring

Hi

My debit card is due to run out in February 2009....does this mean it runs out on the last day of February? Will Natwest automatically send me a new card or do I have to tell them? Also, does the number change so I'll have to update some of my direct debits?

The number might change but it won't effect directdebits as they go by account number, not card number. I didn't have to change anything when my Lloyds card number changed.

You will be issued with a new card in the next few weeks. Its automatic.

Your card expires at the end of Feb.

natwest will send you a new one in Feb

Only your card number will change so that won't affect your direct debits as they are done by sort code and account number.

Bank will auto send it, you'll get it in next couple of weeks - chill out

The number changes, i.e. issue number and expiry/start dates obviously but not the bank number so no direct debits will be affected. Obviously if you register with eBay/Paypal or such like and use your card as payment method you'd have to amend these as the details will be different, new CVV number as well.
