I suggest you look at the 2for1 offers on this site. Pizza express etc have central London restaurants (Their website has a restaurant finder tab). The Times offer might be right for you.Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. - Proust0

St. James Street, and St. Christophers Place (Just North of Oxford Street, and a few streets down from Selfridges) have loads of great little restaruarants/bars. Loads of variety culture wise aswell. Quite mediteranean looking with all the canopies and outside dining (Maybe not this week with the snow though. lol). Quite a relaxed atmosphere down there generally.
Other than that, you got places like Zizzi's (Have they gone bust now actually), and The Real Greek is one of my favourites. Its a chain so theres a few across London.
Going out a bit further though, I know a fantastic Thai/Pan asian restaurant in Notting Hill and not badly priced for the area. Its called E&O (Eastern and Oriental). I may be alittle biased though, as my brothers the head chef.... lol.
Best of luck.0 -
I quite like The Real Greek and that has a bogof offer on hot mezze dishes at the moment (or did a week ago). There are several in London, some may or may not be open. The Spitalfields one is one of the ones with a warmer, more welcoming decor, the bankside one is hit and miss depending on where you sit but you do get a view of the thames.

I was going to say Pizza Express at Bankside which is almost next to the Real Greek. The nice thing about that area, apart from being a really nice area(!) with a lovely laid back atmosphere and being on the river, is that there are several of the sorts of restaurants that feature in the 2 for 1 one article - wagamama, giraffe, strada along with Pizza Express and the Real Greek, so you could just print off a handful of vouchers and then decide which you'd like to visit when you get there.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Claridges used to do a very keenly priced lunch deal considering the quality of the grub. You need to be restrained with the booze though to keep the price down.0

Try Greek Street, Frith Street, Dean Street, Brewer Street, Wardour Street (I could go on...lol) and environs.... Loads of nice little restaurants around there, and good area with a nice vibe to just explore and walk around in. Keep your valuables close though....0
