our joint life assurance was £6.24 per month
Thats very good for £10 million pounds worth of cover....oh, you didnt mention the terms....I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Yes, I pay around £38pm but I bet my cover is cheaper than yours despite you saying yours was £6.24. Its out of context because we dont know type of life cover you have, the addons you have, if its reviewable, guaranteed or renewable, how long it covers you for and what the sum assured is. We dont you know your health, smoker status or occupation.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. sorry, probably best not to bother in future then! i'm of similar age to the OP and thought I'd give him a rough estimate of what I pay.

Its not a case of not bothering but from the explanations, you can see that your figure means nothing unless placed in context.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
