Egg Money - Cashback on Positive balance?

We are paying for our wedding soon and wondering whether egg money pay cashback on positive balances, so would it be worth preloading the egg money card with the costs and then paying via egg?

  • You will get 4% interest on a postitive balance and according to another thread egg themselves say you are still protected by the 1974 consumer credit act if your card is used fraudulentely...but there's still concern this is not the case since you are no longer borrowing but using your own money on the card.

As you are talking about Egg Money master card then you will get 1% cash back on all you on the card, which is paid out in March each year. (ie annually) You will also benefit from a monthly credit of 4% on your positive balance. In these uncertain financial times these interest rates may be volatile so keep checking. I am due to receive over £100 cash back on all last years purchases which even include £2.30 per week for Sunday papers. The more you can pay by card the more cash back you will receive
PLEASE NOTE WELL, I am set up to clear the outstanding balance each month.
