  • i brought the new davina Mccoll dvd excellent love it and theirs not just one routing to do either their is two and then three different toning exercises so you don't get bored of the same thing every day
  • I would also recommend Davina McCall - although I have "The Power of 3" rather than the most recent one. The Power of 3 is great because it's split up into 3 sections (focusing on different areas of the body) so you can do all sections when you have time but just one or two sections when you don't have as much time. The exercises are mixed in with bursts of cardio exercise meaning you burn fat as well as toning muscle. As I've mentioned on other threads, I find Davina a bit annoying but I turn down the volume and listen to my ipod. Also, be warned that you will be in pain for a few days after your first go at it....at least you'll know it's working!

    Hi

I would also recommend Davina - I have a couple and like the 30 minute boxercie type onw - my personal fav.

Also found the charlie brooks (janine from Eastenders) one to be excellent!!

Yet another one to recommend Davina, I have a box set of 2:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Davina-Power-Three-Minute-Workouts/dp/B000I8OCBW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1233846366&sr=8-3

The three 30 minute workouts is good as it is 3 different styles (cardio, toning, and boxing) each with a proper warm up and cool down. The other one is longer but can be taken as chunks if you don't have time.

They both also have the option to turn off davina so you don't hear her talking so much, but it's better to do them a few times first so you can still hear the instructors, as it can be a bit confusing keeping up to begin with!

Hope you find something you like :)

Just to break the trend, I'm a great believer in Billy Blanks' Tae Bo DVDs...I find them a lot more challenging/rewarding than most...A lot of the celeb-type ones I've tried have got pretty easy fairly quick.

Most decent gyms will have treadmills, exercise balls, ab-crunchers and medicine balls...That lot, combined, should be all anyone needs for targetting their tummy...

Tae Bo is a cross between martial arts and kick boxing set to music.
