    afternoon all!

thankyou all for the lovely comments about my weight loss so far - huge amount still to go - pooky, i'm doing Slimming World and also trying to stop when I feel full and 'eat consciously' as Paul McKenna says. Slimming World have a new plan which mixes red and green free foods and is excellent.

Lou - can you ask the tax people to take the money from your paid work each month? I have done and it was cool. I owe £700 for AQA and they will take it each month from my money in my salaried admin job. I just got a new tax code and it's all sorted.

Sar - fook him. Even as a friend he shouldn't be giving you all this !!!!!.

Back out in a couple of hours to invigilate an exam. What am I going to fill my brain with for 3 hours whilst they are working?!

BB I am too late for it to be taken via my tax code so I will just pay it out of my savings.

Fabulous Lou-I tell you, it's the only way to spend yr birthday as you get an extra 8 hours with the time difference!!!Had a fabulous crew who insisted on keeping my champagne glass full, slept for about 4 hours in a lovely big flat bed seat. Went out for Thai dinner on arrival. Spent sat/sun shopping..and another lovely flt home till we landed in Prestwick due congestion at LHR!!!Much fun had by all (except for DH who had all the diversion grief !!!) SRM x

ooh, what a shame Lou - have they told you this for definite? I only ask because I called them at the beginning of Jan after realising I had ticked the wrong option and it only took an email and I got it changed 2 days later.

I also had a very interesting comment this morning from our head of service about my possible future with where I am and the ever approaching merger........I won't say any more in case nothing comes of it, but it was something I would be pleased to be offered - I did say though 'as long as I can stay here', I am not moving to the other offices, whatever happens (or not) job wise will be on my terms !
