I really, sincerely hope there is at least 1 representative of each political party (I know there are more than 2, but only 2 who are likely to form a govt), so that they can listen to the voices of ordinary, often intelligent articulate people and hear their concerns.

Sod focus groups - people on here are spelling it out loud and clear.

If you're out there, party apparatchik, LISTEN UP. WE'RE TALKING TO YOU.

I'm a little disappointed that nobody thought I was a Party Apparatchik.

Sadly, we don't have a Sensible Party.

    It would never win.

There are many types of empire.

Gordon had expanded his public sector empire and was hoping that it would be enough to see him through the next election, but hadn't bargained on the !!!! hitting the fan.

Thats becuase he was a proper communist not the fake communists that Satlin and Lenin pretended to be so they could weild evil power.

Marxism / Trotskyism is still a stupid notion however.

Any form of socialism is doomed to fail as it is predicated on the notion that you can artificially control societies and people.
