Ah, that explains his name, The Coop I think.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

Oh bless.
You haven't called me a moron yet.
I don't belong to any politcal party, though I'm very keen that the current shower are removed and replaced. You might be quite surprised that I do have believe in more than business and profits and traditional Tory territory. My main crime is that I come from a poor family who've bettered themselves by hard work, hence why I hate all the social engineering !!!!!!!!, victim culture and misplaced do-gooding of the full time hand-wringers. If appearing uber-Tory is what it takes to remove the current bunch then it's a price I'll have to pay.Happy chappy0 -
Oh dear, I really need to get my brain into gear tonight...I couldn't understand the question as I thought it was about a plant as in manufacturing etc plant.
SGE1 - I did wonder about you having something to do with the government but then you said something nice and so I discounted it.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

You missed "sandal-wearing yoghurt-knitting" off your descriptive list.
BTW I didn't say you were a Tory party member. Genuine question - I respect your point of view. How do you you feel about the touchy-feely direction Cameron is taking the Tory party? I take it that you'd take Cameron over Brown anyway, but does the spread of what you described as social engineering across to the Tory benches (hug a hoodie, compassionate green taxes etc) fill you with a quiet sense of dread?
There does seem to be a number of issues where all sides seem instinctively drawn to regardless of obvious opposition and glaring pitfalls. I do think both parties would be more respected if they stood on a platform they actually believed in rather than what they see as being an expedient political posture. Cameron sees himself as the heir to Blair - who seriously hopes that isn't true....!0
