WHY THANK YOU, KIND SIR.:D. I DO HOPE MY GRAMMAR IS CORRECT, WOULD'NT WANT TO PULLED UP ABOUT IT.:D

    Wouldn't.

Also, press the button called CAPS LOCK. Although not a grammatical error, it does rather give the impression you are SHOUTING at us!:p
I'll have some cheese please, bob.

I usually agree with Snooze, but I have to say it never occurred to me, even for a second, that you were a anything other than a bloke.

    Hope that helps!;)

Well i joined to check the 0% credit cards and have stumbled on this forum, it was top of the pile and ended up reading the whole thread, i am hooked, is it always like this on here?
Not always...some threads just go and on about what a mess G Brown and the Bankers have made of the economy. Thre's a lot of them at the mo.

Some threads go into lots of economic detail, which, once you've got the hang of the basic theory, can become a bit addictive.

Some threads, for some, strange reason, have little tiffs and spats that, occasionally, turn into escalating full on rows.

There's a lot of metro-sexuals on this board, so makes for some interesting chat....but also some Old School types too....don't get offended if they call you Doll or Babe, they are just being freindly.;)

You forgot about the thread that discussed making a casserole out of fellow poster Dopester, which parts of animals / other humans are edible (not the livers, don't touch the livers!!), and people licking car windows for water.

I think I learnt the most from that thread than all the others combined.

No one has ever called me doll or babe - they always seem to think I'm a bloke!

I think this thread should now be left to die, she's not coming back, and if she does it will be under a different username. She has been on MSE since this thread was started and not been 'in'

She has her reasons and that is fair enough.

Makes you think. It is a public forum so you do need to protect yourself. People do give away too much personal details on MSE imho. It's no point in us adults telling our kids to stay safe on the internet and then doing the opposite.

For example, there is not a week goes by without a story about facebook.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/3355101/Employees-sacked-for-using-Facebook.html

    http://www.personneltoday.com/articles/2007/08/08/41857/argos-sacks-employee-for-derogatory-facebook-entry-as-directory-enquiries-firm-118-118-asks-facebook.html

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/scienceandtechnology/technology/facebook/4214234/Facebook-bullying-students-should-be-expelled.html

People seem to forget that these are public websites. We know for example that journalists read MSE.

People need to stay safe on the net. Remember it is possible for a determined hacker to find you.
