Price for small garden fence

I've been quoted £250 to have a small piece of garden fence done. It's two panels about 3-4ft tall and a wooden gate. The fence posts would be wooden also. It basically sits at the side of my house, between me and next door.

£250 seems high for such a small piece of fence, but I'm not very well up on these things, so maybe it's a good price.

Any advice? Thanks.

I think its a bit over over maybe, but depends as everyone keeps saying just where you are in the country.

Probably for a 3' high fence you'd need, 2 3x3 8' posts at around £10 ea, couple bags cement/ballast £20 say, slatted gate with ironmongery say £25, 2 3' high by 6' wide fence panels say £30. Maybe another £5 for any fixings. I'm being generous with all this .

So totals around £100 for materials (being generous like I said). Then labour maybe 4-5 hours (again being generous) probably another £100. So I'd say maybe nearer £200 is the right price.
