Does anyone know if suet pastry dishes freeze well e.g. jam rolly polly and bacon and leek roll?
I have loads of suet, bacon and jam and thought it would be an ideal way of using some of it up.

Yes, you should have no problems freezing it.0

Yep. According to my trusty Be-Ro book it should be good for 3-4 months.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. You can also freeze suet,my butcher was selling large bags of proper suet(not out of a box,but minced up by him) at Christmas,I've still got some left in the freezer.I use it straight from frozen.0

Thank you Thriftlady, I would never have even thought of freezing suet :T
I guess that it would work with boxed suet as well, maybe if the suet is near its date, I could freeze it and extend its life.
