my daughter is a one parent with a family of 2 boys 5 and 12 ok.
she is getting her rent paid direct to her landlord can she get it paid direct to her instead of her lanlord,if you needany more details i shall try to add ok thank you
she is living in a house were it is owed by a landlord not a council or housing !!!

LHA by default now pays directly to the tenant for new tenancies - if the tenant gets in arrears the LL can apply for it to be paid directly. This is why a lot of LL dislike LHA tenants. Some who it gets paid directly to spend it on other stuff and don't pay the rent but if it's paid directly on a fraudulant claim the LL has to pay it back even though they didn't submit the claim.0 -

She should talk to her Local Authority's Housing Benefit department They can advise based on her individual circumstances.0
