Whoops! Just entered my details to get seed for my sister and I and got this message:

Thank you for registering your interest for the National Science and Engineering Week ‘Save our Bees’ Campaign.
    Your details have been collected.
On the 6th February 2009 you will be sent the free education pack for KS1, 2 and 3 by email and free seeds by post. Good luck!

Maybe this is meant just for schools? What do you think?

I also got this message & didn't tick box to say I was applying as school:confused:

    Thanks to OP.

The education pack is only sent by e-mail, so you don't have to print it if you don't want to.

Superb find, thank you very much op!!

I try to grow plants that attract bees and butterflies so I've applied for some and bought a couple of packs too.

I also leave the seed heads of plants that produce them (including sunflowers :D ) and this brings in the seed-eating birds over-winter. My garden does look a bit scruffy in places with all the dead plants, but it becomes alive with the birds who come in for the seeds. I had about 12 goldfinches on the evening primrose seed pods last week .. it was brilliant to see.

I've also got lavender, thyme that end up covered in bees of all types  . We didn't get so many butterflies either last year though.
