Does lastminute.com still have to honour the offer?..

Hi all,
Just after some advice.
Trying to book tickets to a museum in London. Was on lastminute.com and saw that they were advertising tickets to the museum as '2 for 1.' I clicked on the link and it took me to the booking page but they 2 for 1 option wasn't there - the only option is to buy tickets full price!
So i called up lastminute.com. First advisor I spoke to said that the offer finished on Jan 31st and it's a technical fault that the link hadn't been removed. It's now 4th February! I was then cut off.
I called up again and the advisor put me through to a manager. I was polite to the manager and said that I understand that it may be a technical difficulty, but the offer apparently ended 4 days ago, so there shouldnt really be any excuses why that 2 for 1 link is still there.
I told him it was misleading. Then he said it isn't misleading, and gave some story that it's because they've ran out of allocation for the 2 for 1 offer. So I said, could he point me in the direction of some kind of terms and conditions saying the offer is subject to allocation.
He still refused to accept that lastminute.com were in the wrong and misleading and told me to email their complaints department. Really annoyed because wanted to book the tickets for tomorrow.
the link is...

Under 'Thinking about going out' - 'Days out' - Ripleys 2 for 1
It may have gone now, after I pointed it out to them.
Are they right to have to honour the deal? I have taken a print screen of the page.
Any advice greatly appreciated. x

You have to allow for genuine mistakes,so, no.0

From the content of your first post it appears that you were willing to pay full price for the tickets before you saw the offer, expired or not.
Therefore you have lost nothing. Worth a try, which you had....
Best to move on now though...0 -
If you go into a shop, and something is mispriced, they do not have to sell it to you at that price when you go to the counter. This is exactly the same. It's a small mistake. Live with it. You would want to be treated the same way!0

I have always found lastminute fairly good. Once you have checked the summary page and paid your money, you enter into a contract with them so they cannot then ask for any additional money.
So to summarise, make sure you check the final figure before processing the payment.0
