Flood Plan UK Launches

I wanted to show you all the website that has been launched between NU, the Enviroment Agency and the Flood Forum.

http://www.floodplanuk.org/

It is designed to help people plan for flooding, where possible, and so that you can share your thoughts and stories with other people.

Comments

  • How to plan for flooding would it not be better to not allow building in high flood risk areas or do as the victorians did have a dozen steps up to the front door.
if your unlucky enough to have bought a house in a high flood risk area take a look and see if you can seal up any openings around the ground floor make some slide in and out panels for door openings wont stop everything getting in but it might help
